Alford turned down job offers
New Mexico Lobos head coach Steve Alford said he received many inquiries for other jobs but turned them all down.
Alford’s agent received calls from other schools wanting to talk to Alford, but the head coach didn’t even bothering returning them.
Even as at a school teetering between a mid-major and a power conference team, Alford is happy.
New Mexico had an excellent season, going 30-5 and winning the Mountain West Conference. ( Read More…)
